Since July 2025 Meta charges per delivered template message, not per 24-hour conversation. The price depends on the template's category and the recipient's country code:

Rates are Meta's published India rate card as reported on 1 October 2026; Meta revises them a few times a year, so check the live rate card before budgeting large broadcasts.
Many WhatsApp tools buy messages from Meta and resell them with a margin of ₹0.10–₹0.25 per marketing message, or bundle "free conversations" that expire. At 10,000 marketing messages a month a ₹0.23 markup is ₹2,300 a month — ₹27,600 a year — on top of the plan fee. No GST is added — the plan price is what you pay. WhatsApp message charges are Meta's own, billed to your WhatsApp Business account; Klozent adds no per-message markup.
From 1 October 2026 Meta's India rates are about ₹0.86 per delivered marketing template and ₹0.115 per utility or authentication template. Replies inside an open 24-hour customer-service window are free. Tools may add their own markup on top.
The API itself has no monthly fee from Meta, but every template message you start is charged by category. Service replies within 24 hours of a customer's message are free. You also pay whichever software you use to send them.
