Best WhatsApp CRM in India (2026):
7 tools compared by real price

Published INR prices, what each one actually includes, and which to pick if your leads come from Meta ads.

Last updated 5 September 2026 · Prices checked on vendor pricing pages the same day.

Short answer. For an Indian business that runs ads and needs to convert enquiries, not just broadcast to them: Klozent (from ₹1,499/month, includes Meta Lead Ads capture and a pipeline) is the lowest-cost full CRM on the official WhatsApp API. AiSensy is the best pure broadcast and chatbot tool. Wati suits support teams with many agents. Interakt is the pick if you sell on Instagram as well. Details, prices and the trade-offs below.

How we compared them

Six criteria, in the order they affect revenue for a small Indian sales or admissions team: whether leads from Meta ads and website forms arrive automatically; how fast the first WhatsApp reply goes out; whether there is a real pipeline with follow-up reminders (not only an inbox); the published monthly price for a 2–5 person team; per-message charges above Meta's rates; and whether the tool runs on the official WhatsApp Business API (unofficial tools get numbers banned).

Prices are the vendors' own published INR prices on 5 September 2026, monthly billing unless stated. All of them exclude 18% GST and Meta's per-conversation charges.

1. Klozent — lowest price for a full CRM on the official API

From ₹1,499/month. Klozent is an AI CRM built around WhatsApp, made in Nashik by OnePlace Digital Academy, which ran its own student admissions on it before selling it. That origin shows: the product is organised around the enquiry-to-enrolment workflow rather than around broadcasting.

Leads from Meta Lead Ads, website forms and CSV imports land in one pipeline, are de-duplicated by phone number, and get a WhatsApp reply within about a minute through the official Cloud API. Counsellors work from a "My Day" screen — overdue, due today, upcoming — with one-tap call, WhatsApp and outcome logging. Growth adds drip sequences, segments and campaigns; Pro adds AI lead scoring, reply suggestions and revenue reporting.

Klozent connects your number directly through Meta's Embedded Signup, so there is no BSP markup: you pay Meta's own rates (about ₹0.86 per marketing message, ₹0.115 per utility message in India) on your own WhatsApp Business account.

Choose it if you run Meta or Google ads and your problem is follow-up speed and discipline, not broadcast volume. Skip it if you need a visual chatbot builder with dozens of branches or Instagram DM automation — AiSensy and Interakt are stronger there.

2. AiSensy — the broadcast and chatbot specialist

₹2,500/month, or ₹2,250/month billed yearly for the drag-and-drop chatbot plan; a separate AI Agent plan starts at ₹1,350/month with 1,000 AI messages. Unlimited users on every plan, which matters for large support desks.

AiSensy is a BSP: your number runs through its account and its rate card (₹1.09 per marketing message, ₹0.145 utility). It is excellent at what it was built for — bulk campaigns, keyword-triggered bots, catalogue sharing, Shopify — and weak as a sales CRM: there is no pipeline with stages, no per-rep follow-up queue, no call logging. Teams that need those typically pair it with Zoho or a spreadsheet.

Choose it if you send tens of thousands of broadcasts a month and want a chatbot builder. Skip it if you need to track which counsellor owns which lead.

3. Wati — inbox-first, priced per seat

About ₹2,199/month on annual billing for the Growth plan (3 users); Pro includes 5 users with extra seats at roughly $24 per user per month. There is also a ₹1,499 one-time single-user pack with ₹1,499 of message credit, valid three months — useful for testing, not for a team.

Wati's strength is the shared inbox and its integrations (HubSpot, Shopify, and Salesforce on the Business plan). The CRM side is thin by design — Wati expects you to bring your own CRM. AI lead qualification and its Astra agents sit on Pro and above at separate pricing.

Choose it if you already run HubSpot or Salesforce and want WhatsApp bolted on. Skip it if seat-based pricing will hurt as the team grows.

4. Interakt — WhatsApp plus Instagram, with a real Sales CRM plan

Sales CRM at ₹2,499/month for 5 agents (each additional agent ₹499/month); the Marketing & Support Hub is priced in dollars at $55/month (Growth) and $69/month (Advanced). Message charges are ₹0.958 marketing and ₹0.15 utility.

Interakt is the only BSP here with a native pipeline, lead auto-assignment and a shared inbox in one plan, and it covers Instagram DMs alongside WhatsApp. That makes it the closest like-for-like competitor to Klozent — at about two and a half times the entry price, with a smaller free tier that is Instagram-only.

Choose it if Instagram is a serious sales channel for you. Skip it if you only sell on WhatsApp and want to keep the bill under ₹2,000.

5. Gallabox — chatbot-first for small teams

About ₹2,399/month on annual billing for the Growth plan. Gallabox competes directly with AiSensy on no-code bots and broadcasts, with a shared inbox and basic contact management. Like the other BSPs, it adds its own margin on Meta's message rates. Reasonable if your use case is answering FAQs automatically; not a pipeline tool.

6. Zoho CRM with WhatsApp — for teams already inside Zoho

₹800 per user per month on Standard, with WhatsApp connected through Zoho's integrations and a BSP partner for messaging. You get a mature, deep CRM — reports, workflows, blueprints — and the operational cost of configuring it. For a 5-person team that is ₹4,000/month before messaging, and WhatsApp is a channel inside Zoho rather than the centre of the product.

7. WhatsApp Business app — free, and that is its limit

One number, one phone, up to four linked devices, no API. Quick replies and labels are the whole "CRM". No ad integration, no automation, no team assignment, and Meta caps broadcasts to 256 contacts per list. Fine until the second person joins the team.

How to pick, in one minute

Whichever you choose, insist on the official WhatsApp Business API. Tools that automate the ordinary WhatsApp app through a browser plugin get numbers banned, and a banned business number takes your customer history with it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest WhatsApp CRM in India?

Among tools that run on the official WhatsApp Business API and include lead capture, Klozent's Starter plan at ₹1,499/month (plus GST) is the lowest published price we found in September 2026. Interakt's Sales CRM starts at ₹2,499/month, Wati's Growth plan at about ₹2,199/month on annual billing, AiSensy's chatbot plan at ₹2,250–2,500/month, and Gallabox at about ₹2,399/month. The free WhatsApp Business app costs nothing but has no CRM, no team inbox and no ad integration.

Do WhatsApp CRMs charge extra per message?

Every tool on the official API passes on Meta's per-conversation charges. In India that is roughly ₹0.86–₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.115–₹0.15 per utility message depending on the provider's markup. Replies inside the 24-hour customer-service window are free on all of them. Klozent and Interakt bill Meta's rates through your own WhatsApp Business account without adding a markup; some BSPs add a few paise per message.

Which WhatsApp CRM connects to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) lead ads?

Klozent includes Meta Lead Ads capture on every plan, including the ₹1,499 Starter — leads land in the CRM within seconds via a verified webhook and get an automatic WhatsApp reply. AiSensy, Wati and Interakt can connect to lead ads through integrations or Zapier-style connectors, usually on higher plans or as an add-on.

Is a WhatsApp CRM the same as a WhatsApp marketing tool?

No. A WhatsApp marketing tool (AiSensy, Wati, Interakt's Marketing Hub) is built around broadcasts, chatbots and a shared inbox. A WhatsApp CRM adds the sales layer: a pipeline with stages, lead assignment to counsellors or reps, follow-up reminders, call logging, lead scoring and revenue reports. If your team's job is to convert enquiries into paying customers, you need the CRM layer, not only the messaging layer.

Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Yes, on all official-API tools, with one condition: the number must not be active on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app at the same time. You migrate it to the API (Klozent does this through Meta's one-click Embedded Signup) and your chat history on the phone does not carry over. Most businesses keep their personal number on the app and put the business number on the API.

Which is best for a coaching institute or college admissions team?

Pick the tool that captures enquiries from Meta ads and forms automatically, replies on WhatsApp within a minute, and gives each counsellor a daily follow-up list. Klozent was built by a Nashik training institute for exactly this workflow and is the lowest-cost option that does all three. Education-specific CRMs such as Meritto and LeadSquared are stronger on fee management and multi-campus reporting but cost several times more.

Do I need a BSP (business solution provider) to use WhatsApp API?

Not any more. Since Meta opened the Cloud API, a business can connect its number directly through Embedded Signup without a BSP. Klozent uses that path, which is why there is no per-message markup. AiSensy, Wati, Interakt and Gallabox are BSPs — your number runs through their account and their rate card.
